First find an image that you would like to use as a paintbrush. It can be any image you want, whether you drew or edited it yourself. In this tutorial we will use an image with a plain white background to make things simple; 
Paste or Open the image in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 
Select the white backround around the image by clicking it with the magic wand tool activated. 
Next step is to look at the menu and select selections >> invert 
After inverting the selection, click on the paint brush tool; 
View the tool options toolbar, click on the little paintbrush and then "custom" 
When the next menu pops up click on create 
& you will have a psp7 brush!
